Home Groups

Our home groups are for the purpose of drawing near to Jesus, learning to become the spiritual family that God intends, and devoting ourselves to the purposes of God on the earth. Typically there is a time of singing songs of devotion to Jesus, with a time of listening and sharing about what the Holy Spirit would like to say or do. This moves into a time of teaching, prayer and or ministering to one another.

Community Gatherings

We are always getting together for informal events, whether its beer and wings at a local pub, birthday parties, going to lunch together after church or just plain hanging out together, playing games, seeing the city sights, or simply going to cafes or public venues where some of our people are playing their music. We would love to get to know you over a cup of coffee or a board game!

Bloor Lansdowne Community Meal

This group meets at the Bloor Lansdowne Christian Fellowship. The evening starts with dinner at 6:00 pm and usually ends around 8:30pm (although people usually hang around later). The community meal is every Wednesday night at 1307 Bloor St. West., Toronto. This group serves about sixty to eighty meals to people in the community who are hungry or lonely. We provide love, music and dessert.

Neighbourhood Community Prayer Walk

This group meets in different local places of worship the first Tuesday of each month. The evening starts with worship at 7:30pm and usually ends around 9:30pm. We worship God together, pray for the church, its leaders and their needs as a church. Next we go out from the church for 45 minutes in groups of 2 and 3 walking the community streets praying for families and businesses as we pass by. We then return to the church for light refreshments and discuss highlights or impressions of what God had us see to pray for. We then close in prayer and go home.

A Cup of Cold Water

A Cup of Cold Water is a folk bluegrass trio that brings music ministry to events, fundraisers and plays weekly at the BLCF Community Meal.
